WePAC launched the Anne Carroll Moore Giving Collective in April 2024 in honor of School Library Month.

Anne Carroll Moore was a pioneer in the field of children’s library services and championed what WePAC cares about most: library access and literacy, as well as inclusion and representation.

While we celebrate school libraries every April, we know that library access demands our attention, advocacy and support, not just one week or one month of the year, but every single day. There are always new graphic novels to be purchased, literary promotional materials to be displayed, office supplies to be replenished, and circulation software subscriptions to be renewed.

Sustaining Patrons of the Giving Collective are integral to the ongoing work of our organization and enable us to confidently plan ahead as we strive to empower more students in Philadelphia schools. When we can depend on you, the students can depend on us!

We invite you to become a Sustaining Patron of the Anne Carroll Moore Giving Collective. Sustaining Patrons who give on a monthly basis can rest assured that they are engendering both Anne Carroll Moore’s vision and WePAC’s mission to promote childhood literacy in Philadelphia schools.Together, ACM Patrons will collectively support and further WePAC’s mission on a regular, reliable basis.
